DIY Wednesday: Bridesmaid Cards

This is a gorgeous DIY that my good friend Kaitlin did for her bridesmaids to invite them to be in her wedding. I especially love the "promise notes" she included vowing not turn into a Bridezilla!

The cards incorporated their wed colors into the design..

she also had an inspiration card for each bridesmaid with their color info, location, date, and what to expect on the Big Day.

I love this written font!

twine to keep it all together ( and its cheap too!)

i love the idea of writing the return addy on the back flap instead.

Well done!! You make me proud! :)

Yellow & Gray Wedding Day

I love colorful weddings that are mixed with neutral colors! Its such a great balance. This Yellow and Gray wedding by Kelly & Chris is such a great example of well blended, laid back, and stylish elements. Take a look at all the simple and cute DIY ideas involved!

These paper cones are filled with pom poms to throw when the B&G leave- it is a brilliant way to keep it simple and add a cute element to the chairs

The balloons in the pool is such a money savvy way to brighten up a poolside reception! Get a bag of them at your local party store and have the groomsmen blow them up on set up day.

Im LOVING the little planted pots as party favors- great idea for this theme! Buy them here or in bulk and decorate the planters yourself- with your bridesmaids help of course! :)

Note the twine that wraps the menus and napkins together and the mums as centerpieces . SO easy, cheap, and so adorable! Find those white vases here .

Silver numbers serves a dual function as table numbers and a rustic centerpiece addition.

I'm always a fan of these paper flowers. They look good in any venue and you can pick colored ones or all white !

The dessert bar reminds me of our wedding but they added candy too which is great for another party favor and if kids come!

My mouth is watering at these adorable cupcake treats. Buy a cardboard stand on etsy or make your own cupcake stand instead. It'll save you money and its a fun project!
